Scope of this policy

Where those laws differ, we apply the higher standard.

Information we collect

When you create an account, call our API, browse our site, or communicate with us, we collect information that falls into four broad categories. First, we gather account details such as your email address, hashed password, subscription tier and basic billing information; payments are processed securely by our payment provider, and we do not store full card numbers. Second, our servers log technical data generated by your API requestsyour API key, query parameters, timestamps, response codes, IP addresses and user-agent stringsso that we can deliver results, enforce fair-use limits and detect abuse. Third, we capture standard website analytics through cookies and similar technologies, recording things like device type, referring URL, pages viewed and time spent; this helps us understand how people use the site and tailor content. Finally, we retain the contents of any emails, support tickets or feedback you send, enabling us to answer questions, troubleshoot issues and improve our Services. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data or information about children under thirteen.
